First we listen. This is the most important step. We need to understand your business: your systems, your budget, your needs and your ambitions – it all contributes to the right solution for you. We want you to be more than happy with how the project moves forward, so both the presales consultants and software specialists will come to your offices to walk you through what will happen next.   


This is the part where we pick your brains and interview key staff – we want to know all the details of your business processes so that we can map them to your new ERP solution, making sure it gives you all you want to gain.


Then it’s dark room time. For us, that is – we take all the information you have given us and don’t emerge until we’ve prepared your project definition document. That document forms the basis of our agreement including deadlines and responsibilities – we won’t move forward until you’re 100% happy with it.  


Trying to ‘parallel run’ your legacy system with your new ERP system is counter- productive. It takes far too much of your resource. That’s why we get you to test-drive a ‘pilot’ system that runs test scenarios of your business processes. You’ll get a good feel for your new ERP system and we’ll be able to iron out any kinks without disrupting your business. 


We use your ‘pilot’ solution to train all your end users. We’ve already imported your data so that the pilot system feels familiar, more intuitive and easier to pick up.  


The pilot is working perfectly and everyone knows how to use it – it’s time to ‘go live’. We replicate the pilot into the live database importing all the legacy data. The new system is up to date, opening balances have been input, stock figures are correct and the new system’s ‘trial balance’ matches that of the old system.


You’re ready to roll and we’ll be there whenever you need us – helping when someone forgets how to do something and filling in any small cracks that may appear. You can approach your first month-end with confidence too – we’ll be happy to help you out if you need us.
